Top Rumored Names For 2011 WWE Hall Of Fame Revealed
-- Mexican luchador Mistico has made inquiries to World Wrestling Entertainment officials about joining the organization. He took part in a tryout match prior to a television event in San Jose last year and was said to have impressed officials with his chain wrestling. Mickie James Feels WWE Dropped The Ball - Details
Mickie James recently discussed leaving the WWE and more, here are the highlights…
On performing On iMPACT!: "I was really singing during that performance, because I thought in my mind as a performer, you know, you can do it one of two ways. Because it is a show, and TV, and you can do things a number of ways. Honestly, I found we were going to be doing that pretty much the day before we taped it. So, we were given the option, ‘Do you want to sing to your backup track?'… And I said absolutely not. I want people to see that I'm serious about this. And if I got up there and for whatever reason something goes wrong, then I only have myself to blame."
On Leaving WWE: "They had every opportunity to jump onboard if they wanted to, and I would have welcomed it. If they wanted to wrap a tour around some of the live event shows, Or maybe market the album itself. I think because it's an industry they really don't know anything about… Country music has a loyal, loyal fan base, just like wrestling, just like NASCAR, just like any diehard sport like that. So I think it's an easy crossover if it's marketed correctly. But if you're completely ignorant to the whole process, or you don't know anything about country music, you probably can't open up to that idea because it's not your world… I think if they had a little more of an open mind and actually grasped the concept and actually taken the ball and ran with it. I think they had a really killer idea on their hand that they probably dropped the ball on."

Dana White Continues To Kill Lesnar-WWE Rumors
-- UFC president Dana White made some comments recently on the coaches for the 13th season of The Ultimate Fighter and Brock Lesnar:
On whether or not Frank Mir's removal from UFC 128 involves The Ultimate Fighter: "We're moving [expletive] around all the time. What we like to do is that when we nail a fight and sign it, that's usually it. It's solid. But stuff happens with these other fights. We're still laying out the map for next year. [Mir's removal from UFC 128] has nothing to do with ['The Ultimate Fighter]."
On potential coaches for "The Ultimate Fighter": "I don't know, man. I can't even talk about the 'TUF' coaches right now. I don't know."
On Lesnar Leaving UFC for WWE: "Not going to happen. He can't leave the UFC. He's under contract." White goes on to ask the following regarding Lesnar at WrestleMania: "Like row 3, seat 16? Row 3, seat 16 in aisle 2 sounds good to me."

The Real Reason Why Kaval Is Gone From WWE Revealed
Brandon Silvestry (a/k/a Kaval/Low Ki) requested his release from World Wrestling Entertainment after being frustrated with his position in the organization. The company's creative department was told to bury him after winning the second season of NXT, until a decision was made that he was built up for a few weeks for an Intercontinental Championship Match against Dolph Ziggler at Survivor Series. After losing at the pay-per-view event, creative was told to resume burying him.
Following his quick loss to Drew McIntyre on the Dec. 21 episode of SmackDown!, he reportedly asked WWE management if he had any heat with them, to which he was told no. He then queried if they had any future plans for him and was told they really didn't at that time. He subsequently asked to be released from his contract, which was officially granted two days later.
Silvestry joined WWE in late 2008 while reigning as IWGP Junior Heavyweight Champion in Japan. Original creative plans called for him to adopt a masked character and feud with Rey Mysterio. As he was awaiting his call-up to the main roster, he suffered a severe leg injury in January 2009, which sidelined him for nine months. Creative lost interest in utilizing the program by the time he healed and he remained in developmental until June, when it was announced he would be a participant in the second season of NXT.
Silvestry will be returning to the independent scene under his original ring name, Low Ki. Welcome back!

Eric Bischoff Speaks Out - WWE vs. TNA, ReAction, More
Eric Bischoff was on Monday Night Mayhem, here are the highlights…
The changes he believes that himself & Hulk Hogan, both individually & collectively, implemented effectively in TNA since coming into the company one year ago: "If you look at TNA as a brand & as a media property, I think that Hulk Hogan in particular, and to a lesser extent myself, probably brought more media awareness & industry awareness to the brand than anything they had done up to that point. I think the residual effect of that brand awareness is still playing itself out and is something that TNA is taking advantage of, and it will probably continue to do so."
Why Spike TV decided to cancel TNA Reaction, his reaction to the news, & when he found out about the decision: "No it won't unfortunately. We found out toward the second-to-last day of the TV tapings we had, and Spike had decided to make a different programming decision and go in a different direction. The Reaction you see on the 30th will be the last Reaction."
His reaction to Jim Ross' recent comments (on his BBQ Sauce Blog) regarding TNA being able to compete with the WWE in 2011 & that TNA will "never" overtake the WWE in the marketplace: "I agree 100%. WWE has been around for a long, long time. They've been well-entrenched & well-established in cable television for the last 20 years. It's a television juggernaut. TNA comparatively is a Kool-Aid stand compared to Coca-Cola in terms of its resources & infrastructure. The idea of TNA ever being able to compete with the WWE, although I've been out there, and I've been promoting it as such: I believe in a lot of ways we do compete. There are a lot of things about TNA that are better than the WWE on an individual basis. But you can't compare TNA as a company to WWE as a company. In that regard, Jim Ross is absolutely 100% right on the money. Doesn't mean we don't want to try. Doesn't mean we don't wanna swing for the fences whenever we're given the opportunity. Doesn't mean that we don't want to do things that put ourselves out in front of the WWE audience, just like we did with the Monday night effort. That was something that got people to sample us. It created awareness, and that's important for us. I don't think anybody within TNA realistically felt we were going to compete on a business level with the WWE."

Jim Ross Blogs: He's Not The GM, Got It?, Cena's Injury
Jim Ross updated his blog, which you can see at http://www.JRSBARBQ.com/ Check out some of the highlights:
On John Cena's injury: "Lots of online speculation on John Cena's in ring injury that occurred Tuesday night in Wilkes Barre, Pa. I thought that John might have suffered a hip pointer which is a severe bruise. That speculation was erroneous on my part. He is day to day according to www.wwe.com. Knowing Cena he will be back in action much sooner than many, many others suffering the same injury. Athletic, hip injuries are hard to define or so they seem to be with football players. I certainly wish John a speedy recovery."
On CM Punk: "What do I feel is CM Punk's attraction to the WWE Universe? IMO, it's simply his overall talent. Punk is simply being himself which translates well on the TV screen. His skill set is unique and he is extremely confident in his abilities. The guy is a student of the game and will do what ever it takes to be the top guy in WWE. Plus, he has great verbal skills. "
On the idea that he's the Raw GM: "For the love of Pete...I am NOT the anonymous, Raw GM nor do I want to be. My days on Raw were awesome and filled with memories that will last me a life time but those days are over. Got it?"

Mercury?, Brock Lesnar-WWE Rumors
Joey Mercury, who was last seen as a member of the Straightedge Society on SmackDown! before tearing a pectoral muscle, is now working as a trainer for Florida Championship Wrestling.
UFC boss Lorenzo Fertitta ended all rumors of Brock Lesnar performing for WWE at Wrestlemania or anywhere else, by saying the following to The Los Angeles Times: "He's under exclusive contract with us." For what it's worth, WWE has only offered Lesnar a deal for WrestleMania. It's NOT a full-time return. There is also a reason we have not reported the story here as other websites have.

Major Update On John Cena's Injury Inside Here
WWE Hall of Famer Jim Ross said on his twitter account that John Cena could have suffered a hip pointer during his match against Wade Barrett in Wilkes Barre, PA last night. A hip pointer is deep bruising of the pelvic bone and muscle from a hard blow to that area. The injury can also cause internal bleeding within the abdominal muscles.
It will take some time before he can do any physical activity, and the word is that breathing hard and/or laughing could cause him extreme pain. Jim Ross described Cena's condition as "day to day."
Although it is painful, Cena will not be out for months, and it won't require surgery. It will prevent him from performing in-ring for the next several weeks though.
Also, WWE acknowledged the injury by posting this on their website: Last night in Wilkes-Barre, Pa., John Cena suffered a hip injury. His return to action will be evaluated on a day to day basis.

The Latest John Cena Injury Update, Daniel Bryan/The Miz
-- Things have been quiet on the John Cena injury front. At last night's RAW event in Wilkes-Barre PA, Cena suffered what was thought to be a knee injury. While the company has not made an official announcement, word is that Cena suffered a deep bruise and the injury is not as serious as feared. More information should be available later today.
-- The Miz was recently interviewed by the Baltimore Sun, which you can read at http://weblogs.baltimoresun.com/ You can read a sample below, where he talks about Daniel Bryan… "We were very cordial with each other, but you could tell on the inside that we were both trying to one-up one another because I thought I was better than him and he thought he was better than me. I thought I was better than him just because I've been in WWE for four years now and how long had he been in WWE? Zero time. He basically performed in front of 25 people at a bingo hall and was called the best in the world. I mean, please, I don't care if some dirt sheet is writing about how great you are and that you were able to perform in front of 100 people. Congratulations. I'm performing in front of 16,000 to 20,000 a night and millions across the globe. As far as working with him, though, he's a very, very cool guy and very, very talented. He is one of the true up-and-comers in the WWE and has proven himself and keeps proving himself and improving. And he really, really wants it, which is all you can really ask for."

WWE United States Champion Daniel Bryan noted on Twitter today that he won’t be appearing on tonight’s episode of WWE NXT with his Rookie Derrick Bateman. Bryan will be working tonight’s RAW live event in Wilkes-Barre, PA instead.
- There is still talk of having Wade Barrett vs. The Undertaker at WrestleMania 27, if something with Brock Lesnar doesn’t happen. While it appears after last night’s RAW that Barrett is gone from Nexus, there’s been no confirmation on his status. It’s possible he may end up on SmackDown. A babyface turn for Barrett has also been rumored.

Lesnar-WWE Update: Major Money for WrestleMania & Other Appearances, UFC
According to Dave Meltzer of Yahoo Sports, former UFC heavyweight champion Brock Lesnar is looking for an “exit strategy” to get out of his UFC contract, which most believe currently has one fight left on it. Lesnar “badly” wants to work WWE’s WrestleMania 27 pay-per-view in Atlanta next year and has been talking with WWE officials about how a deal can be reached..
The MMA world has been buzzing about this story since Dave Melzer broke the news on Monday night. Meltzer said on his radio show that the fight with Velasquez has changed Brock’s attitude on fighting and he is at the stage in his life where he doesn’t want to get injured. He’s very well off financially and the business man in him apparently knows that it may be time to move on.
Lesnar has been hunting and hasn’t even thought about his next fight. Lesnar apparently wants to do WrestleMania “badly” and will earn an estimated $2 million dollars for 30 minutes of work.
Its widely known that Lesnar was miserable with WWE’s brutal travel schedule and vowed to never be on the road with WWE 200 days a year again. With the mainstream success he’s had in the UFC and the insane drawing power he’s displayed during his time there, he could make a truckload of money working WrestleMania and a few other limited appearances.

Jeff Jarrett Speaks On Relationship With Kurt Angle, More
-- The UK Sun has an interview up with Jeff Jarrett where he talks about TNA, how wrestling needs another 'pop culture moment' and more. You can check it out at http://www.thesun.co.uk/ Some of the highlights are below:
On whether Impact should feature more wrestling: "When the creative process is successful, the talent gets all the credit. When it is unsuccessful, creative gets all the blame. There's always got to be a healthy mix. When you're doing 52 shows a year that process is hard to balance. Sometimes you go too far one way, sometimes you go too far the other way. It's a healthy criticism at times but at other times it's not."
On who the best wrestler in the world is: "When I look at a talent you have to be able to talk, you've got to be able to wrestle, you've got to have the 'it' factor. I don't believe Kurt Angle has a peer. He doesn't have a weakness across the board. His body of work over the last 10 years is incredible — you know you are going to see something special when he's in a big match.
On whether Kurt Angle has ever wanted to kill him: "Hmm. And vice versa too. Professionally, we're good. Personally, I don't think we'll ever see eye to eye."

Backstage RAW News From Albany - Production Changes
There were several WWE production changes backstage at RAW in Albany, NY due to the weather. The main WWE production truck was moved from the back lot to the side of the arena. This was done due to very high winds. The satellite trucks were also moved.
Alicia Fox was obviously able to make it to RAW in Albany. I don't have this confirmed just yet but I believe she flew in to western New York and then drove east to Albany for RAW.
Jerry Lawler lost his luggage on the way to RAW which is why he wasn't in his normal gear.
WWE talents were still arriving to the arena at 6EST yesterday. That is way later than the normal 3PM deadline.

WWE Running Events During A Blizzard
-- There has been a lot of criticism against WWE for running their Madison Square Garden show on Sunday, due to the weather. WWE was not the only group running in town tonight. All Broadway and off-Broadway productions also staged their shows, as scheduled, during the blizzard. Also, Cirque du Soliel ran at the 3,500 seat Theater within MSG at the same time and continued to run all performances as scheduled. The Long Island Rail Road was shut down during this, but New York City public transportation was still running. The only event postponed that night was a Fantasia concert at the Beacon Theater on the Upper West Side of Manhattan.

The match went about 7 minutes. Josh Matthews still sat at commentary watching, looking bored. Orton & Miz/Sheamus went back & forth for about 4 minutes. Orton went to pin Miz and Cole stopped at 2. Dolph Ziggler Speaks Out On His Amateur Background, More
The Pittsburgh Tribune-Review conducted an interview with Dolph Ziggler promoting tomorrow night's SmackDown! live event in Pittsburgh, PA. The Intercontinental Champion says his amateur wrestling background comes in handy for him inside the WWE ring.
"In high school and college, I worked hard as hell to be in great shape, to be good at what I did. A lot of that translates over, or at least helps with the mindset -- constantly wanting to be better," he says. "Also, because of my wrestling background, I've been able to apply a lot of moves that a lot of people haven't seen in a long time -- stuff I've actually used in college to win matches.
"I used to do this 'crucifix pin,' where you get a guy's arm between your legs and another arm between your arms and you roll him on his back. I used to use that as a finishing move in high school and college. Now I actually use it almost every match. It's really comfortable for me to go to place like that really quickly."
Ziggler also feels that being able to entertain a crowd is just as, if not more, important than looking the part of a WWE Superstar.
"You have to differentiate yourself from other people," he says. "There's a million guys out there who are athletic. There's a million 6-foot-8 guys who played football. It's (about) being able to relate to the fans."

Goldust Reveals Severe Drug Problems While In TNA
WWE talent Dustin Rhodes (a/k/a Goldust) speaks frankly and openly about his journey through the professional wrestling industry in his newly released autobiography, Cross Rhodes: Goldust, Out of the Darkness. He gives a no-holds barred account of his severe drug problems, which notably persisted during his two stints with TNA Wrestling. In the book, he admits that his issues had worsened to the point that he was using cocaine prior to matches for the organization in 2005. Regarding this, he wrote:
"Eventually, and thanks to my dad, I started working for Total Nonstop Action for $1,000 a show. He was the boss, right under Dixie Carter. TNA wasn't doing too well at that point, but I had a job making okay money. I could drive home just about every night. All I was doing was what little I had to do in the ring, then hanging out spending my money on coke, pills, and booze.
"I started making excuses for why I couldn't hang with Dakota. Subconsciously I probably knew I didn't want her around me or my girlfriend because the environment was so toxic. Despite the chaos, I showed up every night for work. I have no idea how I was able to stay on point with work at that time. One of my cardinal rules was never to drink before I worked a match. I wouldn't consider doing coke before a match either. I'd take painkillers, fine. I had been taking painkillers for so long that I had convinced myself I really need them. I was taking medicine because I worked in a tough business. That was the story I had cemented into my mind. But drugs have a way of altering everything, including the stories you tell yourself. Eventually, I started doing a little coke before matches while retaining my vow to never drink alcohol before I go into the ring, as if that was something to be proud of."
Rhodes parted ways with TNA Wrestling after being arrested on April 25, 2005 and charged with misdemeanor battery following a domestic incident with his girlfriend at the Hard Rock Hotel in Orlando, Florida. He would return to the organization two years later as the split personality character Black Reign. He said that time was the hardest period of his life as his painkiller usage increased.
"Every morning, as soon as I pulled myself out of bed, I'd take three Vicodins or Lortabs just to get moving. I was sore and pretty banged up physically, but over time pain pills exaggerated rather than eliminated whatever pain I was feeling. It was a slow process for me to get into the day. I'd get that first rush from pills and then I'd get moving. I might do something around the house, or jump into my truck and drive to the river to work on this book."
He continues disclosing his severe self-medication issues, which culminated with the following in early 2008:
"I was probably taking close to forty pills a day at the end. I was so desperate that I actually bought pain pills from drug dealers because I would run out long before I could find another doctor to write a prescription. If I dropped a pill and it fell into the carpet, I would spend hours down on my hands and knees trying to find it. At the same time I was drinking so much that I'd wake up dizzy and unable to walk.
"Finally, after a three-day binge, I'd had enough. It was raining, I pulled myself up and walked right out the door. The rain was pouring down and I stumbled up a hill near this house where I knew I could get cell-phone reception. Somehow, I managed to call my dad. It was four thirty in the morning. I was falling down the hill in the mud. Ta-rel (his girlfriend) was trying to hold me up. I was scared half to death. I managed to get into the house, soaking wet.
"I had found the bottom."
Rhodes, still affiliated with TNA Wrestling, then reveals calling Ann Russo-Gordon, the liaison between World Wrestling Entertainment and talent who take up the company's offer for rehab. He remained locked away in a rehabilitation center for thirty days to face his demons and was successful. He credits his family and World Wrestling Entertainment, which he also considers family, for helping him turn his life around. He says he has remained sober since May 20, 2008.

Backstage Update - Kaval's WWE Release
The latest word regarding Kaval's release from WWE is that the decision was more his than WWE's. One source noted that WWE tried to get him to stick around but he wanted out ASAP.
Kaval (Low Ki) wanted to be released due to WWE not having any plans for him.
WWE is now more or less giving releases to whoever asks for them and are not attempting to keep people as much as they did last year, the reason being that last year they didn't want people to jump to TNA, while now they don't view TNA as serious competition.

The Reason Kaval Was Released From WWE Revealed
Word making the rounds is that Kaval's release was an amicable parting of the ways and a mutual decision because WWE didn't have any plans for him, as opposed to the company deciding to drop him on their own. The two sides simply agreed to part ways earlier this week and it was just announced today.
It is believed he has the standard 90-day no-compete clause that will prevent him from working for nationally televised companies (TNA/ROH).

Does Kane Miss Wearing The Mask?
-- NorthJersey.com conducted an interview with Kane promoting next Thursday's WWE SmackDown! live event at the Izod Center in East Rutherford, New Jersey. He discussed his mask, how long it took him to be comfortable to cut promos, his political blog, and more.
When asked if he missed working in a mask, he responded: "Oh sure. In fact I just was talking to someone the other day, a fan, and they were talking about how they thought the mask was cool. They hit it right on the head because [they said] it added a definite air of mystery, which is very true. Right now, we have Rey Mysterio with a mask. And up until Rey won the world championship, I think I was the only masked wrestler to ever win the world championship. … I definitely think it's a trade-off. Certainly there were things about wearing the mask that were unique."

Beth Phoenix Interested In Seeing Lita Return To WWE
-- Beth Phoenix is interviewed in the latest issue of WWE Magazine and she discussed her difficult ACL injury earlier this year, the changing face of the WWE Divas, which former Diva she'd like to see return, and much more.
Regarding her ACL injury in May, she commented: "The weird thing was, when I got hurt, I felt fine. I was walking around and running, and I shrugged it off thinking it was just a tweak. But then my doctor told me I tore my ACL and I'd be out for six months. All I could think was, "I just won the title! Taking six months off isn't even a possibility right now!" I had the option to wrap my knee and risk tearing it completely or have surgery. But I was a defending champion and wasn't backing down or handing over my title without a fight."
"The Glamazon" was asked if she thinks she was instrumental in initiating the change to the Divas division becoming more athletic than ever.
"I would love to take credit for something as wonderful as that, but I think it's a credit to the company for valuing women who are not only beautiful, but also athletic and smart," she responded. "Take Eve, for example. She has a background in Judo. Then there's Michelle, who has a college degree and a great head on her shoulders. Young girls can really look up to and emulate the Divas. I think I can take some of the credit, though, for introducing more voluptuous girls to WWE. I was one of the first Divas to prove that you didn't have to be model-thin to be successful, that you could have muscles and still be beautiful."
Finally, she noted that she would like to see former WWE Women's Champion Lita make a comeback in 2011.
"I'd love to have a match with her," she said. "I never had the chance."

Jeff Jarrett Speaks Out - Hogan, Bischoff, Angle, & More
Former ten-time World Heavyweight Champion & TNA superstar, Jeff Jarrett, was one of the featured guests on this week's live edition (12/20/10) of the award-winning Monday Night Mayhem. You can feel The Mayhem every Monday evening (at 7PM ET/6PM CT), exclusively on The Monday Night Mayhem Radio Network.
Interview highlights courtesy of The Mayhem's official correspondent, Paterson from New Jersey:
His thoughts on the last year in TNA, the company successfully acquiring in some of the biggest names in the industry of the industry, the "growing pains" that came along the way over the past 12 months, & his expectations for the promotion in 2011: "When you bring in 2010 Hulk Hogan, Eric Bischoff, Ric Flair, Jeff Hardy, Mr. Anderson, RVD, a lot of strong personalities to the table, you can expect if there weren't growing pains, that wouldn't be realistic. As 2010 comes to a close, I believe that TNA is positioned and has people in positions to truly do what they do best."
The likelihood of seeing Jeff Jarrett vs. Kurt Angle in the near future: "Never bet against Jeff Jarrett, and never bet against Kurt Angle. You have not seen the last Jeff Jarrett and Kurt Angle, and quite frankly, I don't think you'll ever see the end of Jeff Jarrett vs. Kurt Angle."
His message to TNA fans that believe the "sky is falling fence" mentality & that those that feel the company is always on the brink of a major defection or failure: "I think it has grown from a few critics in our fan base that was small back in 2002, and the fan base has continued to grow, and the critics have continued to grow. At the end of the day, I believe, that the critics that are so vocal, I think they're more upset more than anything, because the man in the mirror often times makes you the most upset. That they have continued to call for our demise, that have continued to say at first you wouldn't be around for six weeks, then six months. Every step of the way of our small successes, they've become more vocal & more vocal."
More is contained in Jeff's exclusive Mayhem interview, including more of his comments on TNA's acquisition of Hulk Hogan & Eric Bischoff in 2010 & his message to TNA's "most passionate" fans, along with his candid thoughts on the future direction of his "Double J Double M A" storyline (and whether TNA has reached out to either the UFC or Strikeforce), his transition from working in the office to focusing his energies/efforts on his in-ring work & promotional work for the company), what he hopes for TNA in 2011, plus so much more! Linda McMahon Part Of gDumbest Moments In 2010 List
Fortune magazine has put together a new list of who it feels made the gDumbest Business Decisions of 2010.h Linda McMahonfs senate run made the list and herefs what Fortune had to say:
Linda McMahon, wife of big Vince and co-manager of World Wrestling Entertainment since its inception in 1980 (as Titan Sports), ought to be an expert on all things WWE. From 1997 to 2009, she was its sole CEO.
But in the first week of October, during her failed run for a Connecticut Senate seat, McMahon slipped up when asked about minimum wage. First she sounded as though she did not rule out the possibility of lowering minimum wage, but when pressed, she bungled it further, admitting that she did not know what the statefs minimum wage was, and did not know whether any WWE employees were being paid minimum wage.
Oops. McMahon later told reporters that she had misunderstood the question and misspoke, but the damage was done. Itfs a stretch to say that this was the campaign killer, but it certainly didnft play well with supporters that appreciated her business savvy. Lesson learned–know your company in and out. Oh, and know the laws in the state youfre hoping to serve.h

Paul London Recalls Challenging Matt Hardy To A Fight
Former WWE Cruiserweight and Tag Team Champion Paul London pulled no punches in a lengthy interview published in the latest issue of Power Slam as he candidly discussed his five-year run with World Wrestling Entertainment, the wide array of characters he came into contact there, and much more.
During the interview, London discussed his real-life friction with former WWE colleague Matt Hardy and indicated that it is due to jealousy on Hardy's part. He also explained why he pulled the YouTube video spoofing Hardy's internet campaign to obtain a contract release from WWE.
I must ask you about Matt Hardy, whose name I mentioned earlier. You and Hardy have taken pot shots at each other for years. You clearly despise each other. Why?
[It's all down to] jealousy. He realized that he didn't have the goods, that women just didn't like him, and that I was a sincere person who had charm, who attracted females, and he became jealous.
He's just not a very good human being. He's a phony. Anybody who adorns their home with nothing but pictures of themselves — that pretty much explains it, right there. He just couldn't be a man about anything. He doesn't know what it is to be a man. If he's not at the forefront of something, he's going to try to make himself the forefront.
Regarding Hardy: in September you posted a video of yourself online in which you spoofed Hardy's internet video campaign to obtain a contract release from WWE. In your video, you poked fun at Hardy's weight and made other serious accusations about him. Within days, you had removed the video. Was that because you regretted some of the things you'd said about him?
Erm, it wasn't that I regretted it. Believe me, there were times that I wished I could have done a lot more. There were several occasions when I challenged him to a fight, and he backed out because he's a coward. I was like, "I'm sick of this back and forth crap; let's go outside right now."
And he was, like: "Whoah! Whoah! I don't have a problem with you!" I've never seen anyone with so many tails between their legs.
So the regret that I have in making that stupid video was... I was in a pretty dark place emotionally at the time. I wasn't satisfied with myself. I'm an emotional guy. I take dips. I go up and down. That was never meant to really go out. The whole video was created merely out of boredom. I watched it back and I thought, 'This is garbage. This isn't how I want to represent myself at all. Why am I wasting my time on this?' It was a bit of a wake-up call, actually. I regret doing it because of the way I portrayed myself, especially on a guy who is beneath me. I humiliated myself.

Snitsky Speaks On His Nasty Yellow Teeth, Malenko Update

-- In early 2007, Gene Snitsky debuted a psychotic madman character on World Wrestling Entertainment's now-defunct ECW brand. He drastically changed his appearance for the role by shaving his hair and eyebrows, and giving his teeth a darkish yellow hue. He revealed details behind his teeth being made yellow during an appearance on the Right After Wrestling radio show. "I hated (painting my teeth yellow)," Snitsky revealed. "I had to carry this vial around that looked like nail polish, get my teeth dry, apply the stuff, air brush it dry, it was a pain the ass. It was Vince's idea. He came up to me and said he wanted me to portray this character and to see if I can get my teeth yellow and see the makeup artist to see if she can do anything. My mom even called me on the phone after she saw it to say 'what on earth are you doing to yourself!' And I said to say 'mom, it's TV so I gotta do it!'" The former WWE star also discussed his acting career including his latest project, Manos: The search for Valley Lodge; how he felt portraying a "baby killer;" why he felt his various characters throughout the years never got off the ground; teaming with Goldust and how that iteration of his career was most like him in real life. Backstage Storyline Plans - Cena-Barrett & Edge-Kane Feuds
-- The conclusion to John Cena's lengthy program with Wade Barrett was moved up from the Royal Rumble to Sunday's WWE TLC: Tables, Ladders & Chairs pay-per-view due to injuries suffered by Randy Orton, which limited his availability.
-- As reported earlier, the Rey Mysterio vs. Alberto Del Rio match scheduled for Sunday's WWE TLC: Tables, Ladders & Chairs pay-per-view was canceled and both men were moved into the World Heavyweight Title bout because they wanted all the major matches on the show to have adequate time. It has since been disclosed that WWE officials felt the Kane vs. Edge storyline "wasn't clicking," and would thus lead to a bad pay-per-view match.

What Happened After WWE SmackDown! Went Off-Air, More
Thanks to Chris Reed, PWTorch specialist for the following:
The arena was practically full with only the top portions curtain off. Definitely a good number of kids and families in the crowd.
Pre-TV taping Dark Match: Trent Barreta beat Abraham Washington. Prior to the match, Washington tried to get heat by picking on the San Antonio Spurs. Barreta eventually won a quick match with the Tornado DDT.
After the dark match, NXT, Superstars, and the live Smackdown were taped.
Post-Smackdown Bonus Match: World Hvt. champion Edge beat Kane to retain the World Title. Very quick and basic match. Neither was selling anything from the TLC PPV. Edge won via pinfall after hitting the spear.
Afterward, Edge posed and signed autographs with fans for a while after the taping ended to conclude the event.

Former WWE Diva Tiffany Backtracks Casting Couch Remark
Taryn Terrell (a/k/a Tiffany) noted the following yesterday on Twitter when asked if she would return to her former employer, World Wrestling Entertainment:
"No...if I have to sleep with people in power to keep or continue progressing in my job, I'd rather be poor."
She backtracked her remarks Sunday, saying it wasn't about WWE or anyone in particular, but rather a generalized statement of companies she's worked for. That's interesting as the question that was asked directly referred to a WWE return and that was her reply. There's obviously a reason why she's backtracked and it should be obvious to all of you.
"I'm deleting a certain text because it's being taken the wrong way," she wrote. "It was certainly not talking about anyone or any incident. Just that I've worked many jobs in which the casting couch has existed and I refuse to ever take part in that. so it was a generalized statement of companies I've worked for, which none of you know what companies they were; and It was not about wwe. so I apologize if it was taken out of context and reads differently than what I meant."
Meanwhile, former WWE talent Shelly Martinez (a/k/a Ariel) gave her take on Terrell's initial remark being deemed 'shocking'.
"For the record I do not think Tiffany's response was shocking," she wrote on Twitter. "Simply reality."

Tiffany's Shocking Answer To A WWE Return Question
Recently released WWE Diva Taryn Terrell (a/k/a Tiffany) answered a number of questions from fans yesterday on her Twitter account. When asked if she thought she’d ever return to World Wrestling Entertainment, she remarked the following:
“No…if I have to sleep with people in power to keep or continue progressing in my job, I’d rather be poor,” she replied.
According to a backstage source, the only reason she landed the role of ECW General Manager despite having less than stellar verbal ability was due to management’s “favoritism” towards her.
Terrell later clarified her remark, noting she was not referring to former colleague Michelle McCool, who is married fellow WWE Superstar The Undertaker.
“No my tweet was not about Michelle,” Terrell clarified. “She gained her success and talent on her own, it honestly is mean that anyone would accuse her otherwise. If you are not there or in the locker room with her, it’s completely unfair to say that about her. She is talented and creative and patient and I have a ton of respect for her.”

Backstage Update - Rhino's TNA Future?, Mickie James
– On the November 18 edition of iMPACT!, Rhino explained that Eric Bischoff had agreed to re–sign him as long as he turned on the rest of EV 2.0. The following week Dreamer defeated Rhino in a Street Fight. After the match Rhino attacked Dreamer, but was then chased away by Rob Van Dam, who challenged him to a First Blood match at Final Resolution, which RVD ended up winning. On the following iMPACT! episode, Bischoff refused to give him a contract and had Fortune and Immortal remove him from the arena.
It was legitimately meant as his final appearance with the organization. Company officials wanted to re-sign him, but both sides couldn’t agree to terms as he was looking for guaranteed money. The deal, however, is open ended in the sense that he could return if he agrees to their terms.
– ESPN.com profiled Mickie James yesterday on their “Page 2″ section. She discussed synergizing her foray into the country music world with her wrestling career.
“I tried to make a beautiful marriage out of the two [careers], and I think TNA gives me the opportunity to do that,” she said. “But it’s not a gimmick, and I’m not some novelty act.”
She was also asked if she was scared jumping 20 feet off a cage into rival Tara.
“Of course I was scared,” James said. “I said to myself, ‘Oh, this is amazing. Please don’t get hurt. Please don’t get hurt.’”

The Reason MVP Was Released By WWE, Backstage News
-- WWE Talent Relations head John Laurinaitis was told this past week that a lot of wrestlers are working hurt and if they aren't given time off, more serious injuries will incur.
-- Since parting ways with WWE a few weeks ago, MVP is generally looking to work in Europe and Japan. He wanted to leave the organization because he felt he wasn't being used well and was tired of being buried. Management indicated to him that he left on good terms and would be welcome back, providing he doesn't join TNA Wrestling. Many believe he won't join TNA, at least for the time being, as to not upset WWE. We shall see though.
