As noted earlier, CM Punk has an ongoing bet with WWE ring announcer Tony Chimel regarding the Stanley Cup Finals. The bet is that if Punk's Chicago Blackhawks win, Chimel has to announce The Straight Edge Superstar as hailing "from the home of the Stanley Cup Champion Chicago Blackhawks, Chicago, Illinois." However, should Chimel's Philadelphia Flyers win, Punk has to cut a promo in Chicago stating "this city isn't nearly as good as Philadelphia."

This Week's RAW Rating, 'The Kat' Update
The May 31 episode of RAW did a 3.2 cable rating, with 4,535,000 viewers, off hours of 3.11 and 3.32. That is amazingly good for Memorial Day as they usually do a huge drop.
Stacy "The Kat" Carter says that she was working on a wrestling-related reality series with Survivor producer Bruce Beresford-Redman, who is accused of murdering his wife. The show would have featured the likes of Hacksaw Jim Duggan, Greg Valentine, Al Snow and Jimmy Hart. Carter says that she stopped hearing from the producer around the time that his wife was murdered, and added that since he has been charged with the murder, she doubts the project will get off the ground.

Live Notes & Notes From NXT & SD! Last Night
During NXT, the eliminated rookies were cracking jokes with each other and having a good time.
Daniel Bryan had a shocked and like he was about to burst out laughing look on his face when they announced Kaval and LayCool were a pairing.

Matt is in the ring and he welcomes us to NXT. Matt says that one rookie’s dream will come true tonight. Before we see the three who could win, we see the five eliminated rookies and they are in the front row. Now it is time to see the pros who are still under contract with WWE.
Now it is time to meet the three remaining rookies. Out first is Wade Barrett, who is currently ranked number one. Out next is David Otunga, who is ranked second. The final rookie to come out is Justin Gabriel, who is ranked third.
Matt congratulates them for getting this far. Matt says that for the last fifteen weeks, they have cultivated a dream. Two will go home empty handed while one will become the newest breakout star to get a title match on pay per view.
Matt reminds the pros that there will be two polls tonight. Matt says that they will be doubly scrutinized and all three will be in a Triple Threat Match.
Josh talks about season two and we meet Husky Harris. He talks about how he is a third generation superstar. His pro is Cody Rhodes.

Otunga with punches and shoulders to Gabriel. Otunga with an Irish whip and clothesline in the corner. Otunga with a short arm clothesline for a near fall. Barrett with kick to Otunga and then he throws Gabriel out of the ring. Barrett kicks Otunga and punches him. Barrett with elbows to Otunga’s head followed by a kick. Otunga blocks a suplex and Gabriel with a sunset flip for a near fall on Barrett. Otunga sends Barrett to the floor and then he sends Gabriel into the turnbuckles. Otunga sends Gabriel to the floor as well. Otunga rolls Gabriel back into the ring and he gets a near fall. Otunga with a power slam to Gabriel and then Barrett drops Otunga on the top rope. Gabriel with a kick to Barrett to knock him to the floor. Gabriel goes up for the 450 splash and Barrett pulls Gabriel out of the ring and pins Otunga to eliminate him.
Barrett waits for Gabriel to return to the ring as we go to commercial.
We are back and Barrett works on the arm but Gabriel with a kick. Barrett returns to an abdominal stretch and we see highlights from the commercial break when Barrett worked on Gabriel’s midsection. Barrett with an elbow drop and then he Irish whips Gabriel but Barrett misses a splash. Gabriel with kicks to the leg followed by a back kick. Gabriel with a back heel kick and a roaring elbow. Gabriel with a cross body into the corner and then he goes up top for a cross body and gets a near fall. Barrett gets Gabriel on his shoulders but Gabriel counters with a sunset flip and gets a near fall. Gabriel with an STO and then he goes to the apron and goes up top but his 450 Splash hits Barrett’s knees and Barrett gets the three count with an inside cradle.

Heath Slater says that he has been in the ring with all of them and he thinks that Wade Barrett should win and he says that it is obvious.

He says that his nose is as crooked as his pro. He has a face that a mother would love. He says that his teeth only impresses his dentist. He says that he would pay for a triple threat match with Barrett, Aqua Fresh and Listerine. Otunga says that he has a face for the cover of magazines and a body for Muscle and Fitness.
Wade Barrett says that it was thoroughly entertaining and had people turn off the television in droves like they did for Otunga’s matches. Otunga might have a great physique but he has no clue how to use it. Barrett says that Great Khali has more balance in the ring than Otunga. Barrett says that Otunga has the ‘it’ factor because he has not tangible talent. Barrett suggests that two letters be added to ‘it’.
- The next pro is Kofi Kingston and he says that his rookie is the son of Mr. Perfect. He says that Michael McGillicutty will make his own impact. He says that Ruthless Aggression will be back.
- The pow wow to determine the winner takes place as we go to commercial.

Undertaker to Miss the Entire Summer
The Undertaker suffered a broken orbital bone in his match against Rey Mysterio on Smackdown. WWE has removed Undertaker from all live events scheduled for the entire summer of 2010.
Backstage News: HBK Enjoying Retirement, Batista's WWE Future?
In an update on Shawn Michaels and WWE, he has told friends he's enjoying retirement. He has yet to show any signs indicating he is yearning to return to the ring, or television for that matter.
Batista had originally agreed to work WWE live events until late June but when he suffered the back and tailbone injuries at the Over the Limit pay-per-view, the decision was made to have finish up on last Monday's RAW. Most everyone in the company is under the impression that he will be back soon, likely in time for WrestleMania 27.

Huge Viewer’s Choice RAW Next Week, Vince Returns...
Bret Hart announced on tonight’s RAW that next week’s show will be three hours and will feature the Superstars from RAW and SmackDown. The show will have a Viewer’s Choice theme where fans get to pick the matches and the stipulations. Just like Cyber Sunday PPV..

WWE NXT Winner, Edge Injured?, CM Punk Botches GTS Twice
The WWE NXT winner will be announced tomorrow night. It is not currently known if the winner will get his title shot at Fatal Four Way or at the July PPV. The original plan was for July, but the season was then cut short by several shows.
Edge took a piledriver from Jerry Lawler at a house show in Memphis over the weekend, leading some to question whether or not he was injured from it. It's believed that Edge just did a heck of a sell job as he's in the main event of RAW tonight.
As seen last Friday night on SmackDown, CM Punk delivered an awkward looking GTS to Kane at the conclusion of his bout. It was actually his second attempt at the finishing maneuver as he botched the initial GTS attempt — which was edited off the broadcast. Reportedly, the crowd reacted negatively to the sequence.

Jim Ross Is Still With WWE...
Jim Ross has a new entry on his website, this time talking about WWE where he mentions that he will be at the next PPV. "Planning on going to WWE's next PPV to help out behind the scenes and that will likely become a monthly road trip. Once a month sure as hell beats 51 weeks a year."
Randy Orton's Injury Update, WWE Is Looking For African American Star & Micheal Jordan To Host RAW..
Depending on what happens with Randy Orton's injury, there is a back-up plan for the Fatal 4 Way pay-per-view where Sheamus would storyline injure him either at RAW or early the night of the pay-per-view. Another Superstar would then fill-in for Orton in the main event. This would lead to an Orton vs. Sheamus feud in July, if Orton needs to take time off until then. If this doesn't happen, Sheamus would be in for a title run leading into SummerSlam as we noted earlier. There are several different plans in place right now. As always, thing can and always do change so take this for what it's worth right now.

Mickie James - TNA Update...
TNA president Dixie Carter interestingly said on her Twitter account that she attended Mickie James's album release party in Nashville. The May 20th event was actually not the first time Carter and James met as the two met in person shortly after the multi-time Women's Champion was released from WWE to begin informal discussions on joining TNA. We can now confirm that TNA plans to offer James a contract once her 90-day no-compete clause with World Wrestling Entertainment expires in late July.
Undertaker Injured... Will He Be Able To Wrestle At Fatal 4 Way PPV ???
Undertaker suffered a broken orbital bone, a broken nose and a concussion in his match last Tuesday against Rey Mysterio, which aired on Friday's episode of SmackDown!.
It is believed 'Taker suffered injury while taking the seated senton move by Mysterio during the match.
He has been recommended to take time off due to the injury, which would take him past the Fatal 4-Way event. It's being said that it's a 50/50 chance as to whether he would be able to wrestle on the show.
Due to the lack of depth on the SmackDown! brand, Rey Mysterio has been called back to action to fill Undertaker's scheduled position on live events and television. He was set to take time off from the road for a scheduled vacation. No decision has been made regarding the World Heavyweight Championship bout at Fatal 4-Way, but logic would have Mysterio as the replacement if Undertaker can't wrestle.
