As reported earlier, Triple H and The Undertaker are both featured on the poster for WWE Summerslam.WWE is hoping to have Triple H vs. Sheamus on the show, as well as The Undertaker's return from his broken orbital bone.

As noted earlier here on the website, Eric Bischoff did attend Monday's iMPACT! taping. The reason he missed Tuesday's taping is he is on vacation to attend his annual family reunion in Cody, Wyoming. Bischoff was actually not even supposed to work Monday's taping but did anyway so he could appear on-air as part of a storyline.
Bischoff is also scheduled to miss the TV tapings on July 12th and 13th due to his vacation.
Bischoff's business partner Jason Hervey also missed Tuesday's TV taping.

» Spike TV has given TNA more of a green light to go "more hardcore", whatever that means.
» TNA officials considered multiple locations for this year's Bound for Glory pay-per-view event, but ultimately selected Daytona Beach, Florida in an effort to keep expenses relatively low. Numerous company employees live in Florida and are thus able to drive to the Ocean Center, the event's venue. Other factors include building cost and belief that it would draw most if not all of the Impact! Zone regulars.

» Former WWE Diva Brooke Adams, now known as Miss Tessmacher in TNA, has been training to wrestle recently. Brooke wrestled a few matches for Deep South Wrestling back in 2006 when she was signed to a WWE developmental deal.
While Vince McMahon informed Bryan Danielson he was being let go from World Wrestling Entertainment due to choking ring announcer Justin Roberts with a tie, some within the company believe spitting on John Cena was the real reason for his release.
McMahon hates spitting and has banned it in WWE's rings for the past several years. In addition to spitting, McMahon greatly dislikes people smoking cigarettes and sneezing as it's been noted that if someone near him sneezes, he will lash out at the guilty part for it.
On another note, it's said to be guaranteed that Danielson didn't spit on Cena without clearing it with him ahead of time.
» On Tuesday's NXT show, Titus O'Neil was the first rookie to be eliminated from Season 2. Following the release, he wrote on Twitter: "Just want to say to EVERYONE that Zack Ryder is one of the BEST people in the WWE & he is well worth following. I really respect him. He is a good man."
» As noted earlier here on the website, Shawn Michaels was said to be furious about Bryan Danielson's release from WWE. Michaels was Danielson's original trainer years ago.
» As noted earlier here on the website, Vince McMahon showed up at recent television taping sporting two black eyes as well as a cut on his forehead. For fear of consequences, employees were only "whispering" speculation, and those who found out what happened were not telling anyone. However, the feeling now is that he may have undergone plastic surgery. We don't have anything confirmed just yet though.
» While no television outlet has been announced, WWE plans on holding a third season of NXT. The current season ends in late August, and they have the Syfy slot at least until the end of September.
» Even more than usual, WWE's booking lately has been done on the fly with no real long-term direction. Internally, there has been louder second-guessing of that direction, more than usual also.
» Ashley Valence, the new WWE ring announcer who debuted on NXT this week, is the former in-house announcer for the Memphis Grizzlies of the NBA. Ashley, real name Ashley Ann Vickers, has done some modeling and acting work in the past.
-- The ratings are in for Week 2 of Chris Jericho's ABC game show "Downfall" and they're not good. Tuesday's show drew a 2.3 overnight rating with 4.1 million viewers. Week 2 was down from last week's season premiere, which did a 3.1. With only 6 episodes taped and ratings on the decline already, the chances of ABC ordering more episodes after the initial run don't look good.
-- FlashGameshows.com has an interview up with Chris Jericho, who talks about how he got the "Downfall" gig and what it's like hosting a game show where contestants get thrown off the roof of a skyscraper.
-- In addition to Kelly Kelly, R-Truth and Cody Rhodes, both Randy Orton and Rey Mysterio were working through injuries this past week as we noted earlier. In the case of Orton, he suffered a neck injury that prevented him from wrestling at Sunday's live event in Wheeling, West Virginia. Meanwhile, Mysterio is dealing with a minor groin injury. Neither ailment is serious enough to keep the wrestlers from working through the pain.
The first "Pros' Poll" for the second season of NXT took place Tuesday night, signaling the end of one of the eight contestants from the weekly series.
The WWE Universe and the WWE Pros votes were combined to tabulate the first NXT Poll. Kaval is ranked No. 1, while Titus O'Neil came in last, ranking at No. 8. With the ranking, O'Neil has been eliminated from the NXT competition.

-- Mickie James is set to face WSU Champion Mercedes Martinez for Impact Championship Wrestling on 8/7 in Queens, NY. James will also be making a few appearances for SMASH in Japan.
-- Goldust wrote a post Tuesday evening on Twitter (http://twitter.com/WWEGoldust) saying he has retired. "i am retired," he wrote, adding, "byeeeeeeeee." Though it should be noted that in a previous tweet, he said he was very tired coming off the road and heading to the beach, so it's likely he was joking. The multi-time Intercontinental Champion has been largely relegated to Superstars since being drafted to RAW in April, having only competed once on WWE's flagship program. He once again appeared on Superstars at Monday's taping in Philadelphia, teaming up with Yoshi Tatsu to take on Zack Ryder and Primo.
