Alberto Del Rio Says He Will Become Champion Tonight, More
Alberto Del Rio indicated to SLAM! Wrestling in an interview that tonight's Fatal Four-Way TLC Match for the World Heavyweight Championship will be the biggest match of his career for two reasons.
"I'm going to have the chance to face those legends and especially because I'm going for the heavyweight title," he said. "For me, this is the most important match in my career."
After being a late addition to the match, Del Rio said his focus is on Mysterio and the World Heavyweight Championship.
"At the end, the only one who's going to be left is Alberto Del Rio with the title," he said.
"I'm going to have the chance to face those legends and especially because I'm going for the heavyweight title," he said. "For me, this is the most important match in my career."

On Tribute to the Troops: I hope that you will check out the Tribute to the Troops on NBC tonight. Check your local listings for the one hour version. The two hour version airs on USA next Wednesday night and both shows are in prime time.
On Kane's Chances at TLC: Kane won't retain the World Title with 3 viable adversaries to contend with in the Fatal Four Way TLC championship bout. Edge is my favorite to win it but Alberto Del Rio winning wouldn't shock me.
On The Miz's Chances at TLC: Not sure how he will 'get 'er done' but Miz will retain the WWE Title or so I feel against Randy Orton. I might be wrong but it seems as if Miz' unlikely journey is just getting underway. If Miz isn't the WWE Champion come WM27 I'll be surprised.
On The IC Title Match at TLC: Seems like Vickie Guerrero could be the deciding factor for Dolph Ziggler to retain the IC Title against Jack Swagger and Kofi Kingston in the Triple Threat ladder match. The outcome of this one is a head scratcher to me and if any of the three won it wouldn't totally shock me. Hopefully the IC Title in the coming months will garner more focus.

Here are spoilers for the WWE Tribute To The Troops show, which was taped last weekend at Fort Hood, TX.

The stars in attendance do what they do. P Diddy and Trace Atkins performed their songs. Cedric The Entertainer did a comedy bit. It was really cool.
Big Show and Kofi Kingston beat Dolph Ziggler and Jack Swagger. There were big pops for the faces.
The Bella Twins, Kelly Kelly and Natalya beat Lay Cool, Melina and Alicia Fox in a divas match.
R Truth beat Ted DiBiase.
Silsby's own Mark Henry won a 15 man battle royal.
They shot an angle where Edge attacked Kane and laid him out.
The main event saw John Cena (by far the most over guy), Randy Orton and Rey Mysterio beat The Miz, Wade Barrett and Alberto Del Rio. After the match, Cena thanked the crowd and put over the troops. Then, the music hit and DX came out! Triple H and Shawn Michaels got a huge reaction from the crowd.

Samoa Joe Signs New Contract With TNA, Dixie Carter Comments
After his previous long-term deal with TNA Wrestling expired earlier this month, former TNA champion Samoa Joe has signed a new deal with the company.
TNA President Dixie Carter wrote on Twitter this afternoon:
"Proud to report the re-signing of Samoa Joe! I feel good knowing that I have a focused & determined Samoan on my side. Congrats to us both!"
There had been reports this week that despite Joe's free agency, there was little to no interest from WWE.
The word making the rounds is that Joe's new TNA deal is for 2 or 3 years.

WrestleMania Celebrity Arrested In Las Vegas - Full Details
Boxing champion Floyd Mayweather, who wrestled the Big Show in the co-main event of WrestleMania 24, was arrested last night in Las Vegas, according to TMZ.com.
The arrest was in connection with an a warrant stemming from assault allegations, where Mayweather was said to have poked a security guard in the face. A security guard was patrolling Mayweather’s gated community at the time and says Mayweather poked him when confronted about a parking violation.
He was reportedly at a casino on the Vegas strip when an employee recognized him and called the Las Vegas police. Mayweather, who was all smiles in his latest mugshot, faces a maximum of 6 months in jail if convicted of the assault.

Update: The Reason For Title Match Change At TLC PPV
It was announced this week on SmackDown! that the World Heavyweight Championship Match at Sunday's WWE TLC: Tables, Ladders & Chairs pay-per-view would be a 4-Way Tables, Ladders & Chairs Match between Kane, Edge, Rey Mysterio and Alberto Del Rio. The change was done as a result of time constraints and company officials feeling that it would be better if it featured four competitors rather than two, one of which would be limited (Kane) in a singles TLC Match.
Company sources indicate that Vince McMahon and Triple H made the call for change.

This Week's TNA iMPACT! Rating Is In, Cena vs. Nexus
-- This week's TNA iMPACT! drew a 1.1 cable rating, with 1.6 million viewers. The show did a 1.0 in M18-49 and a .65 in M18-34. Here are the quarter hours: 1.13 - 1.08 - 1.12 - 1.23 - 1.18 - 1.03 - 1.10 -1.10. We don't have the WWE Superstars rating just yet.

Big Backstage SD! Announcer Change, 'Taker's WWE Return?
-- Todd Grisham was officially removed from the SmackDown! announce team last week in favor of Josh Matthews. The move isn't considered a surprise as Vince McMahon has been unhappy with his work in recent weeks. It was suggested to Grisham that he apply for a full-time position with the Fox Soccer Channel — his other job — because it would come across better that he ask to work full-time and give up wrestling while still on the air than after.

WWE.com has transferred John Cena's profile from the Alumni section to the RAW Superstars section after he was rehired by Wade Barrett on Monday's RAW.
Scott Stanford, who handles play-by-play commentary for RAW brand matches on WWE Superstars, has been added to the RAW Superstars page.

R-Truth Health Issues Update
-- R-Truth posted a message on his Twitter account yesterday acknowledging online reports that he was recently hospitalized after experiencing a health scare when he went into convulsions. "Wanna say Thank you to EVERYONE who sent prayers and get wells to me! That's what's up!!! 1luv," he wrote. He missed Monday's RAW after participating in the Tribute to the Troops taping two days earlier.
