WWE Signs New Talent

World Wrestling Entertainment has signed Joe Anoa'i to a developmental contract. He is the son of WWE Hall of Famer Sika and younger brother of former WWE World Tag Team Champion Rosey. He's listed at 6 toot 3, 280 pounds. It was largely expected Anoa'i would enter the world of professional wrestling in case he didn't make it in the NFL. He was a first-team All-ACC defensive tackle at Georgia Tech in 2006, his senior year. After going undrafted in the 2007 NFL Draft, he was signed by the Minnesota Vikings. Upon being released by the Vikings, he was signed by the Eskimos, and accepted a spot on the team's practice roster.
