Jeff Hardy-'They' Storyline Update, Ex-WWE Star Turns Down TNA Tryout Over Money Issues, More

-- Martin sent this one in: As a follow up to the earlier story, Eric Bischoff said that Jeff Hardy wasn't an original choice to be part of 'They' a few weeks ago on the official TNA podcast. He said it was Vince Russo that came up with the idea at a meeting. When Russo pitched it, Bischoff said he had a smile on his face. He said it took convincing though, but it worked. He linked it to Hogan turning and that Hogan wasn't the original choice in 1996 as well.

-- Ken Doane (formerly WWE's Kenny Dykstra) tweeted, "nov 8th and 9th i will not be going for my "tryout" in orlando. no offense to any1 but im not comfortable paying my own flights and working for free. that is all. i dont need a job that bad. if WWE calls i'll go back or if TNA offers something decent. otherwise im absolutely happy where i am in life."

-- The WWE website has removed Katie Lea Burchill from its Alumni section. Surprised?! The former WWE Diva recently debuted in TNA Wrestling under the name 'Winter'.
