Husky Harris Out Indefinitely

In this case, we have an injury of a different sort.

Burly WWE star, Husky Harris, will be out of action indefinitely after taking a boot to the head courtesy of Randy Orton this past Monday Night Raw. Orton, who’s typically displeased with someone or something on a regular basis, had some genuine beef this past Monday night – just one night after Harris’ leader, CM Punk, interfered with Orton’s WWE Championship match.

At the 2011 Royal Rumble, Orton was squaring off with The Miz, the reigning WWE Champ. The Nexus came out and after Punk connected on a Go 2 Sleep, Miz got the pin and retained his title.

It didn’t take long for Orton to get his revenge, though.

Harris and Michael McGillicutty had challenged the WWE Tag Team Champions, Santino Morella and Vladimir Kozlov, to a match on Raw and after their defeat, Orton stormed the ring. Adding insult to injury, he RKO’d both Harris and McGillicutty and then punted Harris while the rest of the Nexus looked on.

The medical staff came out shortly thereafter as Orton disappeared into the crowd. Harris is now out indefinitely.

CM Punk warned that there would be ramifications but we won’t find out the specifics until at least Monday Night Raw next week.

At this point, it’s somewhat hard to gauge whether it’s an actual injury, part of a greater storyline or if there is something going on behind the scenes that we are unaware of just yet. Keep an eye on the wrestling newswires to see when Harris will make his return.
