-- Pro Wrestling Alliance (PWA), an independent professional wrestling promotion owned by Booker, held a "First Ladies of Wrestling" taping last Saturday in Houston, Texas. The taping, which was a reality television pilot, featured Sharmell, Jackie Gayda-Haas, Stacy Carter (a/k/a The Kat), Alicia Webb (a/k/a Ryan Shamrock) and ODB. No matches were filmed and all of the women, sans ODB, appeared in evening gowns. The group was introduced by former WWE talent Shawn Daivari, who lives in the area.
The majority of the show's filming was conducted backstage and the women left the venue before the event's conclusion. Fans were required to sign consent forms when they entered the venue indicating that they agreed to be filmed for the show. Former Nitro Girl Chae was also on hand for the show and the wrestling women sang happy birthday to her.
